FIFA and EA account backup codes – where can I find them?
Signing in is a good thing because it adds an extra step beyond your password to keep your EA/Origin account secure. There are various reasons why you might need a backup code for your EA Account. Where can I find EA Account Backup Codes?
- Sign in to your EA Account and click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click Account Settings > Security.
- Go to the Backup Codes section and click View.
- Verify your identity.
- Write down the backup codes in a safe place so you can use them if you can’t verify your login.
- In the worst situations, if you can’t access your backup codes, contact EA and select Manage My Account > Can’t Sign In.
Where can I find a FIFA backup code via Origin?
- Players must first log into their Origin account.
- Click your profile name in the lower left corner of the screen and select EA Account & Billing.
- From here, click Security.
- Click View next to Backup Codes.
- Copy the codes that appear valid or generate new codes using the button below.
Don’t see backup codes?
If you don’t see the “Backup Codes”option, check if the “Login Confirmation”option is enabled. It will be under “My Account”> “Security”.
