RimWorld: how to feed the animals
RimWorld is a game set in the future. Although people have traveled all over the world and beyond, there is no steady progress between these colonies. This is where your decisions matter the most as they can endanger the colony or help it develop. As you move through these colonies, you can do anything from fighting to rescuing colonists and even animals. But if you have your own pets or cattle, how do you keep them from starving? In this Gamer Tweak guide, we’ll show you how to feed animals in a paddock or around the world in RimWorld.
How to feed the animals in the corral in RimWorld
There are two ways to feed animals in RimWorld. Within the limits of his pen or in the zones allocated in the game. Here’s how you can do both:
Feed the livestock in the paddock in RimWorld
This is an easy way to feed your animals in the game. More precisely, it is intended for cattle. Simply place your animals in the pen and they will automatically graze on the food stored there. This can range from cereal to grass and more.
The best form of food to plant in a paddock is dandelion. Not only does it provide excellent nutrition, but it also grows very fast compared to most plants such as hay in the game. Besides, dandelion doesn’t have many other uses for which it could be saved.
To save on your resources, you can make sure your pen is made for a specific look or gender. This will reduce the number of pregnancies for the animals so they have fewer mouths to feed. Just uncheck the ones you don’t need from the dropdown menu.

Feed your pets through zones in RimWorld
In addition to cattle, you may also have pets that you may need to feed. You will find that these pets can eat any food that is within their permitted movement zone. So, you will need to make sure you make the area big enough to keep an eye on it and also provide food for it.
While your pets may eat regular food, you may not want to feed them the same way. This is because you will be taking away from your colonists. Instead, you can make your own pieces to feed your pets. Not only is it eternal, but it’s also made from unwanted foods that people won’t eat (willingly).
How to prepare food and create a pet area
