Rocksmith+, Ubisoft’s Guitar Learning Subscription, Coming to PC
Rocksmith+ will release on PC on September 6th. To easily learn how to play the guitar thanks to Ubisoft. No mention of the PlayStation and Xbox versions.
Ubisoft’s Rocksmith+ subscription service will launch on September 6, the publisher has revealed. With a delay of about a year, the guitar learning platform will be available on PC exclusively through the Ubisoft Store. Ubisoft says 5,000 songs will be available at launch, including tracks from Alicia Keys, The Clash and Santana. In addition, the company has promised to add “millions”of songs in the future.
Rocksmith+ Coming to PC September 6th
If you have played Rocksmith before or participated in the Closed Beta, you may be eligible for a discount. Subscribe for three months directly, you will get one month for free. You can also purchase a year of maintenance right away, and Ubisoft will give you three additional months for free. Subscriptions for one, three, and twelve months are $15, $40, and $100, respectively.
To learn how to play the guitar easily thanks to Ubisoft
However, you will need a way to connect an electric, acoustic, or bass guitar to your computer. The first option is to download the Rocksmith Plus Connect app on your iOS or Android device. The app will then use the device’s built-in microphone to listen to your playing. You can also use the Ubisoft Rocksmith Real Tone Cable to connect your instrument directly. The advantage of this option is that you can add effects while playing. Ubisoft specifies that it is also possible to use a third-party audio interface, but not all of them are compatible, and the company does not offer technical support in this case.
No mention of the PlayStation and Xbox versions.
Please note that Ubisoft does not mention the previously announced PlayStation and Xbox versions of Rocksmith+. However, the publisher specifies that mobile versions will appear this fall.
