Roller Champions: Season One Launches Next Week
Ubisoft is finally announcing the release date for their new free-to-play team-based PvP game.
Roller Champions, developed by Ubisoft Montreal, combines competition and teamwork. Two teams of three compete in a circular arena to be the first to score five points using speed, ingenuity, devastating tackles and dodges. As you win matches and move up the leaderboard, the gates to more famous stadiums and leagues will open for you until you reach the elite Champions League. Throughout the adventure in single player or multiplayer mode (cross-platform matchmaking), you will be able to attract additional fans, unlock new maps, take on opponents in limited-time game modes, or even completely customize the appearance of the playable character. Roller Champions will be available next May 25 on PS5 (through backwards compatibility), PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC via the Ubisoft Store. Versions for Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna will follow later this year.
Please note that players will be able to continue their quest for fame on the same profile, wherever they are, thanks to cross-progression available on all platforms. Finally, thanks to the skatepark, a permanent social hub, players can meet up to train, or just take part in a few mini-games together.
