So, check out our guide for the best abilities, strategies, and some tips for playing Tracer in Overwatch 2.
Tracer in Overwatch 2 (Abilities, Strategies and Tips)
As mentioned earlier, Tracer is a super-fast runner with multiple abilities. She is a melee DPS character with a hit and run tactic. With her Blink ability, she has undeniably the most mobility and can instantly run away from enemies. But due to her low HP and armor, she can easily be overpowered by other characters. So, that’s all Tracer’s abilities.
All Tracer abilities
Pulse Pistol: This is Tracer’s primary offensive ability, which allows her to fire two Pulse Pistols. In close combat, these dual pistols can shoot in a cone, dealing high damage. While the Pulse Pistol’s ability is slightly nerfed in the sequel, it also gains armor. This can make her stand her ground against offensive characters.
Blink: Thanks to Blink’s ability, Tracer can teleport a short distance when she moves forward. This is her signature ability, which allows her to dodge, dodge, and punch enemies. This ability has three charges, and each has a three-second cooldown.
Recall: Get ready to travel back in time with Tracer, as this ability allows her to go back three seconds. Rewind is Tracer’s second defensive ability, which allows her to rewind three seconds. This ability resets all damage, buffs, debuffs, and shop status to three seconds back in time. You can use this ability to dodge enemies before they finish you off.
Pulse Bomb: This is an ultimate ability that allows Tracer to deal a huge amount of AoE attacks and damage. Once this ability is activated, it hurls an explosive pulse charge at enemies. If the bomb hits enemies or the ground, it will explode in a second.
Tips for playing Tracer in Overwatch 2
Although Tracer has the lowest health, her abilities can even settle the score in a fast paced shooter. This includes Blink and Recall which can change the course of matches. But we suggest using them at the most appropriate time. This is because these abilities have a cooldown period. Some heroes like Ana, Sombra and Moira have slow abilities. But you should definitely follow the hit-and-run tactics against them. With the Pulse Pistol ability, you can deal serious damage to your enemies.
It’s all about abilities, strategies, and tips for playing Tracer in Overwatch 2.
