To survive in this bug bug world you will have to arm yourself with tools, resources and weapons. One item you will need is a mint mallet or more commonly known as a mint mace. Mintsis refreshes in the mouth, which creates this powerful Weapon. In this guide, I will show you how to get a mint hammer (mint mace) in Grounded.
How to get Mint Hammer or Mint Mace in Grounded
The Mint Hammer or Mace in Grounded is a late game two-handed weapon that deals a lot of fresh damage. It’s a Giant Club made from a piece of Ice Caps. Deals Rothtown’s patented fresh damage on hit, but is useless for busting. It is categorized as a melee tool and is a Tier III item. You can get a Mint Hammer or Mace in Grounded by crafting it at a workbench using the following recipe:
- 5 mint balls
- 2 shards of mint
- Harvested from buried treasure
- Obtained from the Ice Cap Mint
- Cool strong nugget
- Glanders
- spider fang
- 2 shards of mint
- 5 flower petals
- Received from the hosta in the flower bed
- 10 Hard Gunk
- Obtained by collecting Creatures found in the upper courtyard.
You will need to obtain these items and place them on the appropriate workstations. The Mint Hammer or Mace is a powerful club that deals 5.5 damage and 6 stuns, but costs 0.5 haste. It is a generic type, but can get a damage increase to a fresh damage type. The Peppermint Mace used to be called the Peppermint Hammer as it was the best weapon in the category, making some tools like the Insect Hammer redundant.
