Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A73 5G with up to 120Hz display and 5000mAh battery launched in India: price, specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A73 5G smartphones were unveiled today in India. Both A-series smartphones were announced globally on March 17 and have now arrived in India. The Galaxy A73 5G is available in Awesome Peach, Awesome Mint, Awesome Light Blue, Awesome Grey, Black, and White. The Galaxy A53 5G will be available in peach, blue, black and white. The phones will soon be available for pre-order in India. The company has yet to announce pricing for these phones.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

The Galaxy A33 5G features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC clocked at up to 2.4GHz and has up to 256GB of internal storage (globally). The device also supports microSD card expansion up to 1TB. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, adapter not included.

In terms of optics, the phone is equipped with a 48 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is complemented by an 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens (f/2.4) and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.2). For selfies, there is a 13-megapixel camera on the front. The phone runs Android 12 out of the box with One UI 4.1. Other features include 5G, LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, IP67 rating, in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speaker, and a weight of 186 grams.

The Galaxy A73 5G features a large 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This device is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor and comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage ((worldwide) with microSD card support. It also has a 5000 mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging (charger not included).).

In addition, the phone offers a quad-camera setup: a 108MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens (f/2.4) and a sensor depth 5 MP. (f/2.2). On the front is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone runs Android 12 and supports 5G, LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP67 rating.
