A week after the global debut, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has been launched on the market. The Galaxy A53 5G features an sAMOLED display, quad rear cameras, and a 32MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A53 5G comes in two configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The Galaxy A53 5G variant with 6GB RAM is priced at Rs 34,499. Whereas, the Galaxy A53 8GB + 128GB variant will cost $460.

The Galaxy A53 5G is available for pre-order now at Samsung.com, retailers, and select online portals. The phone will be available for purchase from March 25 in the country. As a starter offer, the company is offering $39 cashback with ICICI credit cards.

Specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

The Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, and an Infinity-O display. The display is equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner and is protected by 5-layer Corning Gorilla Glass.

Under the hood of the Galaxy A53 5G is Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 octa-core processor, manufactured using a 5nm process technology. The Exynos 1280 has an integrated Mali G68 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy A53 5G boots OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. It will get 4 years of Android version updates and 5 years of security patch updates.

The Galaxy A53 5G comes with quad rear cameras and an LED flash. The main sensor of the device is a sensor with a resolution of 64 MP, f / 1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 32-megapixel camera.

The Galaxy A53 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. However, the company will not ship the charger in retail packaging. It has a Type-C charging port, a micro-SD card slot, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.

The Galaxy A53 5G is available in four color options: blue, peach, white and black. Its dimensions are 159.6 × 74.8 × 8.1 mm and it weighs 189 grams. It has an IP67 rating, making it dust and water resistant.
