Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra Camera, display specs revealed in new leak

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is imminent. If rumors are to be believed, the three Galaxy S22 series phones could be released on February 8th and will go on sale from February 18th in select markets. Samsung is expected to launch the devices globally. The company has not yet confirmed the official launch date for Galaxy Unpacked, where we will see three premium smartphones – Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. Ahead of official confirmation, some key vanilla and Ultra model details have been leaked. Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra specifications announced again

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the company’s premium offering in the first half of 2022. In February, the company will introduce three Galaxy S22 series phones. Ahead of the launch, some key specs of the Galaxy S22 and Ultra have been leaked online.

Starting with the Ultra model, XEETechCare repeated some of the previous leaks that suggested a boxy design similar to the Note series. The phone will have a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic 2X AMOLED display with a resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels. It will have a cutout in the center with curved sides. The phone will weigh about 228 grams.

Under the hood, there will be an Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC depending on the launch region. It will come with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of storage. The phone will have a 5000 mAh battery. It is rumored that the Ultra model will support 45W fast charging.

The rear of the device will feature four 108MP Super Clear Lens cameras, a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera, and two 10MP telephoto sensors providing 3x and 10x zoom with OIS support. The phone will have a 40-megapixel front camera and will be available in four colors – Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, Burgundy.

Some characteristics of the Galaxy S22 were also noted. It is said to feature a 6.1-inch Full HD+ display and a triple camera on the back. The phone will be available in Green, Phantom White, Phantom Black colors.
