Samsung trolls Apple ahead of iPhone 14 launch with new video ad
Samsung considers itself one of Apple’s main competitors in the smartphone market. And that’s for sure! But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t shy away from good old marketing cheap punches to try and get promoted anyway.
Just take a look at the company’s latest video ad for the technically latest Z Flip4 foldable smartphone. And, of course, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which the company launched earlier this year. This phone, despite having gone into the smartphone world earlier in 2022, still goes hand in hand with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14, which is why Samsung included it here.
In the ad, Samsung says that this innovation, which is shown in the video itself, doesn’t “get closer to the iPhone next to you”and adds that “everyone will turn”but “just not in your direction.”And the company says that a smartphone with the highest resolution camera “will be in someone else’s pocket.”And, just in case, Samsung notes that its smartphone(s) can take a proper “moonshot”thanks to this handy zoom.
Finally, Samsung claims that this innovation is already present in its Galaxy-branded smartphones.
The ad is only 30 seconds long, but it might make sense for some people. However, the camera debate is still raging to this day and probably won’t stop anytime soon. However, when it comes to foldable phones, it’s up to everyone to decide if this type of phone is right for them.
What do you think of Samsung’s latest take on Apple?
