Satechi Launches New Colored Pro Slim Hub for Latest USB-C MacBooks
Just last week, Apple announced its all-new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. About thin hubs?
Satechi’s redesigned Pro Slim Hub offers a one-stop adapter solution for all your modems and legacy accessories as you get by with USB-C-only peripheral ports on the latest MacBook Pros.
Available in Midnight, Space Gray, and Silver, the Satechi Pro Slim Hub has a total of seven ports, including the following:
- Full featured USB4 port
- HDMI 4K port
- USB-C port for data transfer only
- 2 USB-A ports for data transfer only
- SD card reader
- microSD card reader
While the latest MacBook Pros already come with an HDMI port and an SD card reader, the Pro Slim Hub greatly expands the ports, including plugs for USB-A accessories and a way to connect microSD cards to your computer without an SD card adapter.
It’s also worth noting that the Pro Slim Hub works with other MacBooks that don’t support HDMI ports or SD card readers. The new Pro Slim Hub works with any 2017 or newer MacBook, whether it’s a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, according to Satechi.
The Satechi Pro Slim Hub has a retail price of $79.99 on the company’s website, but if you’re valid now before February 3rd , you can use coupon code SLIM20 to save 20% off your purchase price, bringing the cost down to $63.99 USA. tax.
Satechi all-in-one hubs are one of my favorite MacBook Pro accessories. In fact, I always keep their previous generation hub with my MacBook Pro. With the updates found in the latest model, it’s only a matter of time before I choose one of these.
