Savvy Games Group to buy Scopely for $4.9 billion
Scopely, the premier publisher and developer of games in the mobile market, will soon become a subsidiary of the Savvy Games Group, owned by the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund.
Under the auspices of the Savvy Games Group, Scopely (WWE Champions, Marvel Strike Force, Star Trek Fleet Command, Stumble Guys, Scrabble GO, Yahtzee With Buddies) will operate independently and receive continued financial support from Saudi Arabia to fulfill its growth strategy and consolidate existing franchises, reach new audiences through innovative games, and collaborate with the best talent and studios in the industry through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
