Streaming platform Disney+ is finally ready to share more details about the rebirth of Willow. The American giant announced that his series called Willow will be released on November 30th. The teaser that accompanies this announcement doesn’t show much, to say the least, but we see the old Willow Afgood return to save the future empress from the clutches of evil. Our hero will join an eclectic group of adventurers, but this time he seems to have much more experience than in the 1988 movie.

In this series, Warwick Davis reprises his role as Willow. Rounding out this line-up are several well-known actors, including Ellie Bamber (Netflix’s Serpent) and Erin Kellyman (Solo and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier). John Chu was originally set to direct this series, but the man was eventually replaced by multiple directors due to pandemic restrictions. Note that the director of the film “Willow”Ron Howard is involved in the project as an executive producer.
This announcement comes right after Disney shared a lot of information about its upcoming series Star Wars, Andor, and The Skeleton Squad. The company is not afraid to discuss its Disney+ projects in advance. The service continues to multiply original works in order to attract more and more users to its networks, including with the restart of old more or less cult licenses.
