OnePlus 9 Series, OPPO Find X3 Series Receive ColorOS 12 Stable Update in China
OPPO released the ColoroS 12 update based on Android 12 for the Find X3 Pro smartphone a few days ago. The new software update was released as a stable version which contained the firmware version as CPH2173_11.C.33.
The company recently started rolling out the Android 12 update to the entire OPPO Find X3 line and OnePlus 9 series in China. Ahead of the official rollout, the company has confirmed that it will release the update on November 25th.
ColorOS 12 hits OnePlus 9 and Find X3 series in China
The Android 12 update that is rolling out for OPPO Find X3 Pro Mars Explorer Edition has a firmware version of A.28/A.29. On the other hand, OPPO Find X3 and Find X3 Pro are getting a new update with firmware version A.30 and A.28/A.29 respectively. Moving forward with OnePlus 9 series devices, both OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are getting a new update with firmware version as A.12.
If you haven’t received the Android 12 update on your device yet, you can go to Settings > Software Update > to check if the update has arrived on your smartphone. As usual, the ColorOS 12 stable update for the aforementioned devices is rolling out in stages. Initially, we can expect the update to arrive for a limited number of users. A wider rollout of the Android 12-based ColorOS update for the OPPO Find X3 and OnePlus 9 series could be seen in the next few days.
In one of the related news, we saw OPPO announce the ColorOS 12 closed beta program for the OPPO Find X2 series last week. The Android 12 closed beta is open to OPPO Find X2, Find X2 Pro and Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition users. The company is looking for 5,000 beta testers to test Android 12 on all three phones.
If you have any Find X2 series device and want to try the Android 12 beta, you can go to Settings > Software Update and click on the gear icon. You will need to select “Apply for Beta”and follow the on-screen instructions to apply. If your app is approved, you will receive an update via OTA.
