NFTs are digital assets that can be very interesting. Today they are found in a variety of areas. Actor Seth Green has an ambitious plan for one of his Bored Ape NFTs, a little monkey he named Fred. Unfortunately, these digital assets are prone to piracy. And in these cases, the situation is, to put it mildly, delicate. However, it has a happy ending.
Seth Green recovered his stolen NFT Bored Ape #8398
American actor Seth Green recovered his stolen NFT from the Bored Monkey, but the operation cost him a lot of money. At least we can say that this Bored Ape #8398 NFT recovery hasn’t been easy. And if the operation was so important in the eyes of the 48-year-old artist, it was because Fred was supposed to be the star of an NFT-themed television series.
Blockchain history shows that 165 EHT – roughly $1,460 at the time of this writing – was transferred to an address owned by @DarkWing84, the account that had this Bored Monkey #8398 after he escaped. The NFT still has a warning label on the OpenSea platform indicating that it has been flagged as suspicious activity. This prevents the asset from changing hands in that market.
It will still cost him 165 ETH.
@DarkWing84 aka Mr. Cheese told BuzzFeed News that he had no idea the non-fungible token had been stolen. He repeatedly assured that this purchase was made in good faith.
Be that as it may, NFT Bored Ape #8398, also known as Fred, is back in the hands of Seth Green. This should once and for all resolve all issues related to the continuation of the television series of the American artist. Now, hopefully, everything will be fine before the launch of said series.
