The Sims 4 has always been a place where anything is possible. From starting a family to managing your own city, The Sims 4 allows players to explore different career paths and adventures to their heart’s content. But did you know that you can become famous in order to make your Sim a local celebrity? Here are 5 ways to become famous in The Sims 4.

How to become famous in Sims 4

1) Become an actor

The main feature of the Get Famous expansion is choosing a career as an actor – a great way to become famous in The Sims 4. Take part in the audition process to get a role and perform it on the set. A successful performance rewards you with money and fame. Once you reach 3 stars in your fame, unlock the Set Name perk to skip the audition process and save time on your run.

2) Publish books

If your Sim is a good writer, consider publishing books to get some exposure. You can do this on your home PC and use your mailbox to self-publish the book. Publishing books will not only add to your fame, you will also be able to earn daily royalties for your work.

3) Become a YouTuber

Use the media station to create your own videos. Invest in your media production skills to add transitions and effects to your videos for more views. If you choose to use this method, be sure to unlock the Corporate Partnership Bonus, which will increase the amount of fame and money you get from videos.

4) Licensing songs

To do this, you need to reach level 9 on your preferred instrument, such as guitar, piano or violin. Level 8 allows you to write your own song, and at level 9 unlock the “License Song”option in your mailbox. While this can only be done once a week, the sheer amount of Fame earned makes up for it. You can also do this with singing if you have the City Living expansion pack.

5) Stream Drone

Broadcast your Sim’s life with this drone, which you unlock in an expansion pack, to passively increase your fame. Using the drone during any of your actions increases your Fame, so combine the drone with the above actions to gain Fame passively. Repair the drone to its full working order if your Sim wants more glory.
