Apple’s next 13-inch MacBook Air could get a little bigger
The next 13-inch MacBook Air may offer a slightly larger panel, from 13.3 to 13.6 inches.
Just a few days ago, we learned that the Cupertino company may introduce a new MacBook Air model, larger, with a 15-inch screen. However, it seems that this is not the only novelty in this segment of the Apple product catalog. Indeed, if DSCC CEO Ross Young is to be believed, it would appear that the 13-inch MacBook Air could also be eligible for a slight change, which would include a slight increase in its panel size.

However, this increase will be minimal. Right now, the 13-inch MacBook Air has a 13.3-inch screen. According to Ross Young, the panel will increase to 13.6 inches in the next generation, with an actual increase of 0.3 inches (7.62 mm). It’s hard to say that this will make a real difference in everyday use.
13.3 to 13.6 inches
In any case, it’s also worth bearing in mind that today’s rumors surrounding this MacBook Air refresh claim that the Apple brand will introduce an all-new design with even thinner bezels on the sides. In other words, the Cupertino company could then increase the size of the plate without increasing the external dimensions and the overall size of the machine. So your 13-inch MacBook Air can be stored in any protective, storage or transport accessory designed and built for a laptop of this size.
That being said, as stated above, 0.3 inches is still an increase that should go completely unnoticed. However, this would be an opportunity for Apple to show off what it always does better. In any case, no one knows when this new 13-inch MacBook Air might be officially unveiled. Until then, please be patient and we will take this information as another rumor to be added to the file.
