Slime Rancher 2: How to open doors/gates

This game revives all the fun by adding some returning nostalgic features and some other new features. There are several places marked on the map that can be explored after unlocking it. Farm slimes and craft various gadgets to survive in this remote land full of slimes. Building slime science gadgets in this game requires some resources. These resources are found in the wild and can be found through exploration. During your exploration, you may have come across locked doors in the game a few times. How to open locked doors in Slime Rancher 2

When you come across such locked doors, you will notice that there is a slime statue next to them. To open this locked door, determine what type of slime is carved into the statue. For example, the statue in the image above is a striped slime. To open the gate, you will need to shoot the striped Plort in the Statue’s mouth. Keep in mind that no other Plort will do the job other than a Slime Plort carved in the shape of a Statue. One Plort of a correctly identified Slime will do the job and open the door to Slime Rancher 2. The locked gates undoubtedly contain a lot of loot, which can include a treasure pod containing an upgrade for your Vacpack.

Once you open the Starlight Strand island in the game, you will encounter such locked doors in abundance. Full knowledge of slimes, such as their appearance and favorite food, is a must when attempting to open locked doors in Slime Rancher 2.
