Motorola has introduced a new G-series smartphone. Moto G51 5G is the company’s new budget 5G smartphone, released. This comes a few days after the launch of the Moto G31, another budget smartphone but with 4G only support. The G51 is Motorola’s most affordable 5G smartphone and comes with support for as many as 12 5G bands. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. Moto G51 price
The Moto G51 was launched with one variant of 4GB RAM. The device has 64 GB of internal memory and costs $197. It comes in two colors – Bright Silver and Indigo Blue. The budget 5G smartphone will go on sale on December 16 via Flipkart.
Specifications and features
The phone comes with a tall 6.8-inch Full HD+IPS LCD display. At the top there is a punch hole for the front camera. The device comes with a Full HD+ resolution display and 120Hz refresh rate support. It has an 83.81% screen-to-body ratio and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood of the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. It is paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage. Users can expand storage through the microSD card slot. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, etc.
On the back is a vertically aligned triple camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel main camera sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone also features a 13-megapixel front camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs MyUX based on Android 11. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging out of the box.
