Nokia smartphone running Samsung Exynos 7884 spotted on Geekbench
Nokia appears to be gearing up for a new budget phone as the phone codenamed Suzume hit the Geekbench database website. Nokia Suzume will be the company’s first phone with an Exynos processor. Nokia Suzume may be one of four devices that have recently been leaked. For those who don’t know, passerine birds are called Suzume in Japanese. The database listing also revealed some of the key features of the upcoming Nokia device. Let’s take a closer look,
Nokia Suzume with Exynos processor appears on Geekbench!
Nokia Suzume appeared in the Geekbench 5 database and scored 306 points in the single-core test. And in the multi-core test, he scored 1000 points. Based on the listing, Nokia’s upcoming phone looks set to be an entry-level smartphone. The listing also states that the Nokia Suzume will be powered by an octa-core Exynos processor codenamed universal7448B. It should be the Exynos 7884 processor, which we have already seen on several Samsung phones, including the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A10e, and Galaxy A20, just to name a few.
The Geekbench database listing also confirms that the Nokia Suzume will come preloaded with the latest version of Android, Android 12, and come with 3GB of RAM. However, we can expect the company to offer the phone in other RAM options as well. For those who don’t know, the Exynos 7884 is a fairly old processor built on a 14nm process. It uses two performance-oriented Cortex-A73 cores and six power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores. For graphics-intensive tasks, the Exynos 7884 comes with an integrated ARM Mali-G71 GPU.
Unfortunately, nothing more is known about the upcoming Nokia phone at the moment. However, we can expect the device to appear on other certification sites in the coming weeks.
