Oppo K9 Series 5G phone spotted on Geekbench

Oppo’s upcoming Oppo K9 series smartphone has been spotted on geekbench, which has revealed more information about the device. First, it was entered into the database with the model number “PGCM10″一 belonging to the Oppo K9 series. The Oppo phone is said to run on an octa-core chipset with six cores running at 2GHz and two cores running at 2.4GHz. This is the Dimensity 700 5G processor, which is a mid-range 5G SoC from MediaTek. In addition, the list also lists 8 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS version, which is a bit disappointing for a future smartphone since Android 12 is now available for many devices.

The device has previously been spotted on TENAA (via GSMArena) and several specs have also been revealed. The Oppo PGCM10 is said to feature a 6.5-inch FullHD+ LCD screen, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 33W fast charging. The device is said to come in two configurations with three RAM options: 4GB/6GB/8GB and two storage options: 128GB/256GB. In addition, the device will have a 16MP selfie camera, a 64MP main camera, and two 2MP cameras on the back.

As of now, the company has yet to announce a launch date for any of the Oppo K9 series devices in China. Since the device is already appearing on several certification sites, we should hear more official news in the coming days.
