Watch the official trailer for Apple TV+’s ‘Surfside Girls’ adventure

For all Apple TV+ subscribers who are looking for another family-friendly series, Surfside Girls could be the right choice. The upcoming series is slated to premiere in August, and with it comes a good old treasure hunt to the streaming platform.

Surfside Girls starred Yaya Gosselin as Sam and Mia Cech as Jade. The two are determined to just enjoy their time at the beach, especially since it’s summer vacation. However, everything changes when they meet a ghost. Lying on the beach and catching the waves, you will have to wait while the couple jumps headlong into the mystery associated not only with a pirate ship, but also with cursed treasures.

The upcoming series also stars Spencer Hermes-Rebello, Adan Maverick Carcagno, Christine Lin, Sonita Henry, Michelle Mao and more. The premiere of the first episode is scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022. The show is based on the graphic novel series of the same name written by Kim Dwinell.

Apple TV+ definitely doesn’t shy away from family content these days. Not that it’s bad, of course. A complete library is always a good thing, especially with a wide range of content for potential viewers.
