Snoop Dogg: Universal Pictures Teams Up With Death Row Pictures For Legendary Rapper Biopic

A big-budget film will tell about the life and work of Snoop Dogg.

The famous biopic directed by Allen Hughes (Public Menace, Touch of Evil, Broken City) written by Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther, American Crime Story, Amber Lake) dedicated to Snoop Dogg is the first project of the production company Death. Row Pictures and will include several flagship games from its extensive catalog. The hip-hop legend bought the Death Row brand earlier this year for an undisclosed amount from MNRK Music Group, which is controlled by private equity group Blackstone. Universal Pictures is also partnering with Sara Ramaker as a producer.
