Free Fire, or its MAX variant, is known to be a fast-paced BR game where one match ends in about 10 seconds. 15 minutes. Only 50 players will participate in one match. Thus tournaments were to be limited to 12 teams (48 participants) in one game. Given the new leak, it is planned to increase it to 15 teams, i.e. up to 60 players.

A new post from Xtrascore Esports Instagram reveals that Free Fire is testing this new custom match lobby size and there should be an official statement. With 15 teams in this fast-paced battle royale game, fans can witness potential and fierce competition between teams. All teams would have to fight much harder to keep Booyah in the game.

Since this is just a leak, gamers should take this information with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made. But if this turns out to be true, there will be huge competition, and fans of non-standard games will be able to witness exciting moments among their favorite teams.

Free Fire is banned in India back in February 2022 due to security concerns. However, the MAX variant is still used in India, with some organizations and platforms hosting unofficial tournaments.
