Sony and Tencent become shareholders of FromSoftware

FromSoftware issued new shares of its capital to Sony Interactive Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, and Sixjoy, a subsidiary of Tencent.

Already owners of 1.93% and 6.8% of the capital of Kadokawa Corporation, respectively, Japanese giant Sony and Chinese giant Tencent jointly acquired a 30.34% stake in FromSoftware, which is equivalent to 16.25% for a subsidiary of Sixjoy and 14.09% for a subsidiary Sony Interactive Entertainment. The remaining 69.66% of the shares are owned by the parent company Kadokawa Corporation.
