Rumor has it that Oppo will launch the Reno 8 series later this month in China. The company may launch its new premium smartphone series in India in June or July 2022. The upcoming Reno 8 series is expected to include at least four smartphones. These include the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 and Reno 8 SE/Lite.

Some details about the upcoming Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ 5G have leaked online. The specs of the top-of-the-line Reno 8 series smartphone have been listed by leaker Mukul Sharma. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ so far.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ 5G Specifications Leaked

According to rumors, Oppo will soon launch the Reno 8 Pro+ 5G in China. The specifications of the phone were leaked ahead of the launch. According to Sharma, the Reno 8 Pro+ 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. The AMOLED display will support a 120Hz refresh rate. We can also expect the phone to have a hole punch cutout.

Under the hood, the Reno 8 Pro+ will have a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC. We saw the same SoC in the OnePlus 10R, which was launched last month in India. The Reno smartphone will also ship with Oppo’s custom MariSilicon X NPU.

In terms of camera, the Reno 8 Pro+ will feature a 32MP front camera sensor. On the rear panel is the main camera Sony IMX766 50 megapixels. The triple camera setup should also include an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

There will be a 4500 mAh battery. The Pro+ model will support 80W fast charging out of the box. Oppo will release a phone with two speakers and NFC support. The phone will also come with a premium aluminum frame. It will weigh about 183 grams and be 7.34mm thick. The phone is said to be released in three color options – grey, black and green.
