Oppo Reno 8 Series specs leaked ahead of May 23 launch: Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz display
Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo Reno 8 series in the Chinese market. The brand is expected to release three phones in the Reno8 lineup – Oppo Reno8, Oppo Reno8 SE, and Oppo Reno8 Pro. In the new development, a whistleblower Wow Technology on Chinese microblogging site Weibo stated that Oppo will introduce Reno8 series devices in the domestic market on May 23.
Ahead of the launch, the specs for the upcoming Reno8 series devices have also surfaced online, courtesy of the famed digital chat station. According to the leaker, one of the upcoming Reno8 series devices will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. Oppo Reno8 series specifications
The leak has revealed the specs of two upcoming Reno8 series phones, which could be the Reno8 Pro and Reno8. According to DCS, the Reno8 Pro will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and MariSilicon X.
The Reno8 Pro is said to offer a 6.62-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It can weigh 188 grams and is said to be about 7.57mm thick. The device can be supplied with an X-axis linear motor and NFC support.
On the other hand, the Reno8 may come with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display at 90Hz. The phone is said to be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1300 processor. The device may weigh 179 grams and be about 7.67mm thick.
The Reno8 series devices may offer a 50MP camera and a 32MP selfie camera. Both future devices are said to come with a 4,500mAh battery and support for 80W fast charging.
