Square Enix: Shinji Hashimoto Resigns
After almost 30 years of good and faithful service, Shinji Hashimoto leaves the Japanese publishing house Square Enix.
Shinji Hashimoto, legendary producer at Square Enix, announces his departure: “Thank you for your support of the various licenses over the years. As the brand manager for Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, I’ve had the opportunity to visit many events to meet all of you around the world. In recent years, physical activities have been suspended due to the coronavirus and under normal circumstances, I would like to visit everyone in person to express my gratitude directly, but unfortunately I had to choose these farewells there as I am unable to move.”
Shinji Hashimoto retired from Square Enix today and we’re very lucky to have received a video message from him.
