Squid Royale Arrives in Silly World: Red Light, Green Light Available in Early Access

Pune- based studio SuperGaming has announced Silly World’s newest limited-time game mode, Squid Royale, to much fanfare, and pre-registration data suggests the mode is gearing up for a big launch. Squid Royale is, as you might guess, based on the Netflix show that took over the world this year, Squid Game.

SuperGaming recently confirmed that over 700,000 people have signed up for the newest mode, which is a huge number. Squid Royale will be available in Silly World in Early Access from November 16, 2021, and players will have to jump over some obstacles to finally be able to play the game mode. By following these steps, players will have access to “Red Light, Green Light”in “Stupid World”:

  1. Play 10 games in Stupid World
  2. Add 5 friends
  3. Reach 1200 IQ
  4. Share the game on Instagram

Squid Royale inspired by the game of squid is now available in Silly World

Red Light, Green Light will be the first of many planned games to appear as part of Squid Royale in Silly World, as SuperGaming has confirmed there will be plenty more after that. Exceeding 700,000 pre-registrations is no doubt evidence that there is indeed a huge demand for Squid Game-inspired game modes, and it looks like a large number of players will flock to Silly World despite all of its Squid Game qualities.

“Squid Royale promises to be the most popular mode added to Silly World, with over 700,000 pre-registrations in its first week,”says Christel D’Cruz, co-founder and CEO of Silly World. “We humbly thank our fans for their response to this mode and hope they have as much fun playing it as we did.”

“Red Light, Green Light”, as the players might recall from the show, was the first game the contestants played, and the goal was simply to cross the designated line before the timer ran out. The problem is that players can only move during the green light, and if they are found moving during the red light, their game will end rather unceremoniously. Playing Red Light, Green Light in Early Access rewards players with 1000 in-game gold, as well as some fancy exclusive skins like Old Man Nam, Frontman and more. The game is available on both Android (Google Play Store link) and iOS (App Store).
