Star Wars: The Old Republic – Legacy of the Sith, three months late with “Legacy of the Sith” expansion
Originally scheduled for December 14, BioWare is postponing the Legacy of the Sith expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic to February 2022.
BioWare’s next MMO expansion in the Star Wars universe is finally coming to PC next year: “We’ve made the difficult decision to delay Legacy of the Sith. Like many of you reading this, I personally can’t wait to see the launch of our next expansion. I really enjoyed the time I spent exploring the depths of Manaan, testing new combinations of stories and abilities through combat styles, and more in internal playtests. Legacy of the Sith is a project the team has been hard at work on for some time, but as we get closer to launch, it’s clear we need a little more time. We’ve focused further testing on the many areas we’ve improved in the game to provide what we want and what you deserve. ”

Keith Kanneg, Project Director for The Old Republic and Legacy of the Sith, adds: “In addition, during our public test server, your feedback has been invaluable in helping us shape this expansion. Aside from the story content (to avoid spoilers), most of the expansion and its functionality will return to the public test server for all subscribers this week. We’re excited to celebrate SWTOR’s tenth anniversary with all of you next year with the release of Legacy of the Sith and more! ”
