Steelrising delayed for several months

Spiders Studios announces the postponement of the release of Steelrising, a historical soul-like movie in which an automaton is responsible for protecting Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution.

Jeanne Rousseau (lead writer), Sebastien Di Ruzza (design director) and Ciarán Cresswell (localization manager) of Spiders, the Nacon subsidiary behind The Technomancer and GreedFall, announced exclusively to our GameInformer colleagues that Steelrising is finally miss a month. June in favor of a September 8 release on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.

Gameplay for Steelrising

Steelrising is set during a fictional sci-fi version of the French Revolution. You play as the protagonist Aegis, who fights against the insidious automaton army in order to free the people of France. Given this unique combination of period and theme, the developers had a unique opportunity to combine the beautiful styles of the past with a dark, unsettling layer of robot horror to create a truly unique art style.

In addition to the original visuals, Steelrising is ideal for action RPG fans. It will feature a plethora of upgrades, weapons and armor, and a compelling story that unfolds in this gripping vision of a fictional past. The Spiders have also made sure that the encounters and boss fights are memorable and enjoyable.
