The settings interface allows you to customize the visuals to your liking with the background and change the look of your cards. You can customize difficulty levels and how you see hints, switch between landscape and portrait views, choose between right-handed or left-handed gameplay, track your stats, and more.

3. Gardens between+ (October 14)

Created by The Voxel Agents, this is yet another Apple Arcade remake of the classic App Store game. The Gardens Between+ is a single-player interactive game that puts you in control of time as it flows in all directions.

Arina and Friendt are best friends who find themselves in a surreal garden filled with items from their childhood. The game takes two friends on an emotional journey that “explores the meaning of their friendship”.

To solve puzzles, you must manage time. The game features a storybook-inspired art style and an ambient soundtrack by Tim Sheel. With simple controls and no text/speech or time pressure, you can play The Gardens Between+ at your own pace.

The Gardens Between+ is only available on iPhone and iPad [ App Store link ].

4. NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition (October 18)

An exclusive version of the NBA 2K franchises from 2K Games is available to play on Apple Arcade with an all-new Greatest mode.

You must complete tasks to become the best scorer, sniper, playmaker or defenseman in the NBA. In this mode, you can play against the top 20 players of the 76th NBA season such as Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic, as well as against legends such as Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal and Dirk Nowitzki.

The game allows you to advance through the ranks in My Career mode, customize your players’ appearance with licensed sports equipment, position and jersey number, as well as adjust their height, wingspan, weight, playstyle and other characteristics.

You can play against opponents from across the NBA in 5v5 basketball games, participate in street basketball (1v1, 3v3 or 5v5) and compete in real-time multiplayer matches (Xbox and PlayStation controllers supported).

5. Stitch (October 28)

Stitch is an ingenious puzzle game from Lykkegaard Europe Limited, the same developer studio that brought you App Store classics like Lumen and Tint.

So how do you play a game that tries to imitate the art of embroidery? By filling in the fields without spaces, of course! You have to go through more than fifty hoops of varying complexity and sizes, as well as thousands of levels to choose from. Simply select your preferred pattern, size, and hoop category to get started. Completing tasks will not only earn you points, but also the opportunity to level up.

How to view a list of upcoming Apple Arcade games

To see a list of upcoming games, go to the Arcade tab in the App Store and scroll down, then tap See All Games. On the next screen, click Filters to narrow the list by release date and turn on the Coming Soon option.

Apple may remove some tiles from the catalog due to poor interaction, usually when contracts with their developers expire. Remote games are available to play on the service for another two weeks.

How to get Apple Arcade for free

Apple Arcade gives you access to a growing library of over 200 games on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. There are no ads, tracking, or in-app purchases in the games. Apple Arcade costs $5 per month after a free trial.

You get three free months of Apple Arcade when you buy a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV (for more information, see apple.com/apple-arcade).

Apple Arcade is not a game streaming service – each game must be downloaded to run locally on the device.
