Support for Dopamine & rootless is added via the Nexus iOS 16-style Lock Screen hack.

A jailbreak hack called Nexus by iOS developer iCraze that imitates an iOS 16-style Lock Screen on earlier version(s) of iOS was first shown to you just under two months ago.

Now that iOS 15.0-15.4.1-compatible A12-A15 devices may jailbreak using Dopamine, it’s important to note that Nexus has been upgraded to enable the Dopamine rootless dynamic.

Nexus offers a wide range of customization options for the Lock Screen. Just a few points:

• Change the details of the date.
• Modify the notification features
• Make Lock Screen Fast Actions Your Own
• Change Face ID glyph on Lock Screen

Beside the capabilities listed above and the cutting-edge Dopamine rootless jailbreak capability, we can deduce from a recent post by the developer on /r/jailbreak that the most recent version of Nexus also brings the following adjustments and enhancements:

– Adds option to stop the configuration menu from opening whilst the device is locked.
– Adds “Save wallpaper” button.
– Adds “Disable translations” option.
– Adds basic support for alternate calendar dates.
– Redesigns configuration menu.
– Fixes issue with Ukrainian translation.
– Fixes issue with localization failing if the current language pack does not exist.
– Fixes disappearing time bug caused by race condition.
– Fixes freeze/safe mode when user installs custom fonts incorrectly.
– Fixes X offsets not applying on iPads when the device is horizontal, with alignment set to Left/Right.
