Goodmed tells you all about everything drug related
In France, up to 30,000 deaths and up to 180,000 hospitalizations are recorded annually due to drug misuse or side effects. Numbers that are worrying, especially when we know that 3 out of 4 French people, according to a 2021 Opinion Way study, self-medicate. According to the same study, almost 2 out of 3 French people (62%) find information in instructions difficult to read, and 72% of them doubt the accuracy of information found on the Internet. Therefore, there is a need for information that is reliable, useful and accessible to the general public. Hence the Goodmed app.
in a clear and individual way
By scanning the QR code of the medicine box, the application allows you to check if the user can take the indicated medicine according to the health profile recorded in the application (when pregnant, breastfeeding, possible allergies, special treatment, etc.). The displayed results are, on the one hand, easy to read, and on the other hand, personalized, which reduces risks.
The Goodmed app is available for free on Google Play and the App Store. Those who want to go further every day can choose the optional Goodmed Premium subscription for 5.99 euros per month, which allows them to create family profiles in particular. Please note that Goodmed Premium will also be available through partnerships with insurance companies and mutual companies directly in their health prevention offerings. So you may not have to pay anything.
