Techland is preparing an open-world action RPG set in a fantasy universe

In addition to providing at least five years of additional content for Dying Light 2, Polish studio Techland is bringing together video game industry veterans to create a new license.

The new Techland development team working on the big-budget A-RPG in the heroic fantasy genre consists of screenwriter Karolina Stakhira (The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, Gwent”: The Witcher Card Game, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales), Narrative Director Arkadiusz Borovik (The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine), Open World Director Bartosz Ohman (Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, Cyberpunk 2077), Creative Director Mario Maltezos (Batman: Arkham City, Lollipop Chainsaw, Guardians of Middle-earth), Lead Game Designer David McClure (Forza Horizon, Homefront: The Revolution, Deathloop), Lead Animator Kevin Quaid (Killzone: Shadow Fall, Horizon: Zero Dawn) and lead UI/UX designer Marcin Suros (Outriders).

Techland is looking for new talent
