Tecno Pop 5 Pro with 6000mAh battery announced for launch soon

Last week, Tecno launched its first phone in the Pop series, the Tecno Pop 5 LTE. The brand is currently gearing up to launch another device in the Pop series. Tecno Pop 5 Pro may be an upgraded version of the Pop 5 LTE that was recently launched in the country. The upcoming Pop 5 Pro was recently leaked by PassionateGeeks. The leak revealed that the phone will come with a 6.52-inch HD+ display and will be sold in a 2GB + 32GB configuration. It will offer a 6,000mAh battery, which the company has already confirmed. The phone is said to have a MediaTek Helio A22 processor.

Tecno Pop 5 LTE features and specifications

Recall, Tecno Pop 5 LTE offers a 6.53-inch HD + IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 * 1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a peak brightness of 480 nits. The display panel houses the front selfie camera inside a waterdrop notch.

The Pop 5 LTE is based on the eight-core MediaTek Helio A25 processor, manufactured using a 12nm process technology. The device comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage in the country. Tecno is also giving users the option to expand the storage by another 256GB via the micro-SD card slot. The phone comes preloaded with HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 (Go Edition).

Moving on to cameras, the Pop 5 LTE offers an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is matched with AI lens. For selfies, the phone has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, you get dual SIM, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and supports FM radio.

The Pop 5 LTE is IPX2 rated, making it splash resistant. Its price is $85. We can expect the upcoming Tecno Pop 5 Pro to cost more than the Pop 5 LTE.
