Tecno Pova 5G with Dimensity 900, 120Hz display is the company’s first 5G phone: price, specifications

Tecno has finally unveiled its first 5G smartphone, the Tecno Pova 5G. The Pova 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity processor that brings 5G connectivity to the table. It features a large display with a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Let’s take a closer look at the Tecno Pova 5G price, features and specifications.

The Pova 5G only comes in one storage and memory configuration – 8GB RAM + 128GB and is priced at $289. However, there is no official confirmation of prices, as well as the availability of the phone.

The Pova 5G sports a 6.9-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, a pixel density of 480ppi and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display also has a center punch hole to accommodate the front shooter for selfies.

The device is based on the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, created using a 6-nm process technology. This is the same processor used in the Oppo Reno 7 SE, iQOO Z5x and others. It comes with an integrated Mali G68 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also offers 3GB virtual RAM and boots Android 11 with the company’s proprietary HiOS.

Moving on to the cameras, the Pova 5G includes a triple rear camera setup and a quad-band flash. The main shooter on the device is a 50-megapixel sensor, which is accompanied by a 2-megapixel camera and an AI lens. There’s also a 12-megapixel camera and dual flash for selfies and video calls.

The Pova 5G is powered by a 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 172.82 x 78.24 x 9.07mm and is available in Aether Black color option. What do you think of Tecno Pova 5G? Let us know in the comments below.
