Tecno Pova 5G with Dimensity 900 SoC, 50MP Triple Rear Cameras Provided Online

Tecno may soon release its first 5G smartphone. The company has announced several 4G smartphones in India and other markets. The upcoming Tecno Pova 5G could be the first 5G smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker, set to debut soon. The company has not yet confirmed the official details of the launch of its upcoming smartphone. While we wait for some official details, the design and key specs of the Tecno Pova 5G have been leaked. The leak shows that the Tecno smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek chip to support the 5G network. Let’s take a look at the Tecno Pova 5G specs, design renders and other details.

Tecno Pova 5G render design, specs

The design of the Tecno Pova 5G shows that the phone will have a notch at the top center of the display and is surrounded by thin bezels. It has a triple camera array on the back, which will feature a 50MP main camera sensor. Tech Arena24, which leaked design information, did not reveal sensor details for the other two camera modules. However, given that this device is likely a budget 5G smartphone, we can expect the phone to have a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera.

On the right edge of the device are the volume and power keys, the latter being duplicated for the fingerprint scanner. There is a shiny stripe on the back that runs through the camera module all the way to the bottom with the Tecno logo at the top.

On the front, the device will sport a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. It has thin bezels around the display, except for a slightly thick chin. The device is rumored to have a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC under the hood. The device will be released with one 8GB + 128GB storage option and will likely be priced between $280 and $300.
