Earlier this week, Tecno launched the Tecno Spark 8C phone on the market. The Spark 8C is an entry-level phone with decent hardware for the price. The phone offers a large HD+ display and dual rear cameras.

The Spark 8C only comes in one configuration: 3GB + 64GB. The phone is priced at $100 and will be available from 12:00 exclusively through Amazon.

Specifications and features of Tecno Spark 8C

The Spark 8C features a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1612 pixels and a waterdrop notch. This is a 90Hz refresh rate panel that supports 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood of the Spark 8C is an octa-core UniSoC T606 processor that works in conjunction with an integrated Mali G57 GPU. The system on a chip also has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Spark 8C is loading the proprietary version of HiOS 7.6.

Spark 8C is equipped with a dual rear camera and LED flash. There is a 13-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and 77.3-degree field of view that works as the main camera. It comes with an artificial intelligence lens of unknown resolution. For selfies and video calls, the Spark 8C offers an 8-megapixel front camera.

Spark 8C is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. The brand did not reveal the phone’s charging capabilities. It offers DTS stereo sound and also has an IPX2 splash protection rating. The phone also offers 3GB of extended RAM, but it will ship with an OTA update.

For security purposes, Tecno Spark 8C is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone measures 164.57×76×8.95mm. It is available for purchase in Magnet Black, Iris Purple, Turquoise Cyan and Diamond Grey.
