Android 12 Phones: Complete up-to-date list of devices that support or will support Android 12
Android 12 was released for Google Pixel devices on October 19, 2021, so anyone with a Pixel 3 or newer model can install the new operating system with an over-the-air update. The Android 12 AOSP version was released a few weeks earlier on October 4, so OEMs could use or modify the source code on their smartphones. So which devices have or will have Android 12?
Not much yet. The Pixel line and a few Samsung Galaxy devices make up the bulk of devices supporting Android 12 in the US, but you’ll even see phones from Asus, OnePlus, and Sony. Other manufacturers will join the list when they add Android 12, modified or unmodified, to their devices. You can expect OEMs in the Android One program to run stock Android 12, but it’s unknown which phone will be supported first.
Check the list below to see all currently supported devices and devices that will receive Android 12 in the US and other countries. Some phone models already have developer betas and/or public betas, and devices officially announced to support Android 12 soon. There are also phone rumors!
Skins Android 12
For reference, it takes a while for many manufacturers to release Android 12 updates because they have to include their skins in the Android system. If you don’t see “Android 12″explicitly mentioned by the manufacturer, but you see one of the skins below, this is the manufacturer’s version of Android 12.
- ASUS = ZenUI 8
- LG = LG UX 11
- Motorola = Android One / My UX
- Nokia = Android One
- OnePlus = OxygenOS 12
- Oppo=ColorOS 12
- Realme = Realme UI 3.0
- Samsung = One UI 4.0
- Sony = AOSP Android 12 builds for unlocked devices
- Vivo = OriginOS 2
- Xiaomi = MIUI 13
Phones with Android 12 in the US
All of the following phone models have official stable releases of Android 12 in the US. If a phone is on this list, it has already been updated or could be updated to Android 12 in the US – if your phone is unlocked or your mobile carrier has approved the update. Not all US wireless providers release Android updates at the same time, so keep that in mind if you don’t see the update on your phone yet.
