‘The Lord of the Rings: Gollum’ is no longer expected this year
Second delay for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
While The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been set for release on September 2 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC, German studio Daedalic Entertainment is finally looking to improve the game even further. Insight: “For the past few years, our team has been working hard to bring you a wonderful story in a breathtaking world full of magic and wonder. We strive to live up to our community’s expectations and bring Gollum’s untold story to life in a way that lives up to J. R. R. Tolkien’s vision. That being said, to ensure the best possible experience, we have decided to delay the release for a few months. We will announce the exact date shortly.

Lord of the Rings: Gollum will wait until 2023
The release does not say if this will also delay the Nintendo Switch version, which was due out later this year after the release of other versions of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. With fierce competition at the end of the year, it’s more than clear that a new launch should be scheduled sometime in 2023, with a potential move to the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine.
