The Relic theme gives the app icons on your Home Screen additional impact.
Check out Relic by Shaun, a recent release, if you’re looking for a modest yet eye-catching theme for the Home Screen of your iPhone (zsy245).
Relic’s app icons borrow heavily from the design language of the native app icons for iOS, thus at first sight they nearly seem familiar. Even so, many of the icons have subtle aesthetic distinctions, such as the usage of shadows and emboss effects.
These effects transform your app icons from flat computer drawings, like Apple’s own app icons appear to be, to more substantial, nearly three-dimensional objects.
Relic supports 197 app icons out of the box, which is fewer than some other themes we’ve recently featured, but the designer promises that weekly updates will continue to add more. If a user has an app that isn’t supported, they can email the creator with an icon request.
Relic is available from the Havoc repository via your preferred package manager software for $2.99 if you’d want to give it a try.
