The most recent version of palen1x, the bootable loader for USB flash devices that may be used with Windows Computers, includes the palera1n updates as well (version 1.1.0).
It should come as no surprise that the palera1n team is advising switching from rootful to rootless if you haven’t already, as the rootless dynamic is quickly becoming the norm in the jailbreaking world today.
While rootful will still be maintained for the foreseeable future, it’s important to note that in the Dopamine and palera1n-c world of today, most tweak developers have switched to rootless.
Only older A9-A11 chip-equipped smartphones running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.x, including the iPhone X, are supported by the palera1n jailbreak. You should instead use Dopamine, which supports A12-A15 chip-equipped devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1, to jailbreak anything newer.
