Ticketmaster wants to enrich the fan experience with NFTs
Blockchain Flow by Dapper Labs has partnered with ticketing giant Ticketmaster to enable event organizers to issue non-fungible tokens (NFTs) before, during and after concerts, musicals, exhibitions and shows.
Ticketmaster’s NFT offering is already enjoying significant success. Over 5 million non-fungible tokens have already been issued on the Flow blockchain, an open decentralized platform uniquely designed to provide consumer services such as NFL All Day, NBA Top Shot and UFC Strike. Please note that issuing an NFT on the Flow ecological block chain requires less energy than a message on a social networking site.

Event organizers who choose to offer NFT to fans along with their ticket have a real opportunity to make this new technology relevant and attractive at scale. That’s why we’re partnering with Flow, as their blockchain is built specifically for fan engagement and a seamless consumer experience.
