Top Guns in Everspace 2

You must solve riddles and fight through hordes of difficult enemies as you navigate war-torn star systems, and to do this, you will need the correct equipment. The most successful pilots in Everspace 2 have strong ships and even stronger weapons. We have all the information you need if you need some advice on what weapons will work best for your playing style and in particular situations.

Guide for Everspace 2 Weapons

There isn’t actually a weapon in Everspace 2 that is theoretically superior than another because each one has its own advantages and uses. Rarity is the one factor that actually distinguishes one weapon’s strength from another. To determine your preferred play style, you should engage in a few battles and interactions before choosing which weapons to have in your rotation. Having a few different sorts on hand to switch out depending on the circumstance is also a smart idea.

Although we have a full list of recommended primary and secondary weapons below, these are the ones we prefer for regular space combat:

  • Blaster: Primary Weapon, good for close range and quick fire
  • Rail Gun: Primary Weapon, good for distance firing
  • Homing Missiles: Secondary Weapon, a classic missile launcher that locks on and tracks the enemy

How to Get Weapons in Everspace

After defeating enemy ships, weapons can be taken, or they can be scavenged from containers. Also, they are made from any supplies you have come across during your space travels, including Circuitry and Spare Components. There are four different rarities for crafted weapons: Common (white), Uncommon (green), Rare (blue), and Superior (pink). In Everspace 2, the higher your level, the more probable it is that you may loot greater rarity items.

Weapons with a higher rarity have improved stats and offer additional passive benefits. Weapons can also be classified as Primary or Secondary. While secondary weapons have a limited supply of projectiles or charges, primary weapons have infinite ammunition but use more energy.
