Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 Revealed in First Teaser
Star Trek: Lower Decks lets you take a peek at season three with a teaser full of promises.
If Disney doesn’t hesitate to multiply its Marvel and Star Wars content, the same can be said for CBS and another iconic sci-fi license, Star Trek. In recent years, many new series have appeared. Today, the new season of the series, highly appreciated by fans, was announced. This is the third season of Star Trek: Lower Decks.
Star Trek: Lower Decks hints at season 3
Among the many Star Trek series that CBS has released since the franchise returned to the small screen in 2017, Lower Decks stands out for its fun side while still being smart in Gene Roddenberry’s beloved sci-fi universe. Last October, Season 2 ended on a spectacular cliffhanger when Captain Freeman was arrested by the Federation for allegedly destroying the planet Pakled. A simple little “To be continued…”hinted at the full potential of the USS Cerritos crew.
With a teaser full of promises
More recently, we were given a small hint of what happened next in this series. CBS has indeed shared the first trailer for the third season of The Lower Decks. And, in case you didn’t know, after proper preparations, Ensigns Mariner, Beumler, Tandy and Rutherford went back to their usual antics with a very misguided plan to get the Cerritos out of drydock. “This is for the captain,” one of them can be seen speaking as the camera pans to the ship without the outer hull, and another voice questions the entire scene: “Are you stealing Cerritos?!” – we hear them. How will events develop?
In the United States, the first two seasons of Lower Decks can be viewed on Paramount+. Although Stranger New Worlds premieres on May 5, Season 3 is one of many productions from the Star Trek universe that will hit the streaming service before the end of this year.
