TrollStore updated to version 1.0.8 with a few more improvements
TrollStore, a utility for permanently signing files. ipa for iOS and iPadOS 14.0-15.1.1 from iOS developer Opa334 received an update on Friday that brought the tool up to version 1.0.8.
Permanent signature capabilities. ipa means that users can install applications and sign them using TrollStore indefinitely without having to sign them every seven days or every year, depending on the type of developer account the user has.
According to the changelog posted on the project’s official GitHub page, TrollStore v1.0.8 contains the following changes:
- Makes applications installed via TrollStore appear as if they were specially signed
- Removes Apple-owned URL schemes when installing apps to prevent apps from breaking the system. If apps that violate this rule are already installed, they will need to be reinstalled after upgrading to TrollStore v1.0.8.
- Prevents group containers from being deleted when they are still in use by another application.
- Fixed an issue with small file permissions when signing certain files. ipa.
- Adds a popup when tapping and holding an app in the uninstallable list
- Improves code and makes error messages more verbose
This update is apparently recommended for all existing TrollStore users and is available on the GitHub releases page. The developer also shared a quick link to the OTA update via Twitter for those looking to save time.
It is important to note that while TrollStore supports iOS and iPadOS 14.0-15.1.1, all iOS and iPadOS 14 installations must be done via jailbreak, and all iOS and iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 installations must be done by downloading the TrollStore app and running it.
