TrollStore has been updated to version 1.4.3 with a fix for a bug affecting app deletion.
Opa334’s TrollStore permanent signature utility for iOS and iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 betas) received another bug-fix update early Monday morning, bringing the utility officially up to version 1.4.3.
As stated in the changelog on the GitHub page, version 1.4.3 of TrollStore fixes the following issue:
– Fix application group and plugin containers not being removed when uninstalling an application.
Existing users of TrollStore are advised to install the latest update to ensure a smooth user experience when deleting applications that were signed with it. Updating is as easy as using the OTA (over the air) update mechanism in the TrollInstaller or TrollStore app.
If you’re not using TrollStore yet, you can get it from the project’s official GitHub page and install it using one of the two step-by-step guides below:
- How to install TrollStore on iOS and iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 devices without hacking
- How to Install TrollStore on Jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 14.0-14.8.1 Devices
TrollStore works similarly to sideloading utilities such as AltStore and Sideloady, except that the permanent signing capabilities allow applications installed with it to remain signed indefinitely instead of just seven days. This is made possible by a unique CoreTrust bug that only works with the supported firmware versions mentioned above.
