Razer co-founder Robert Krakoff has died.
Ming-Liang Tan co-founded the gaming brand Razer with Robert Krakoff in the early 2000s.
Robert Krakoff, nicknamed the RazerGuy in the community, is best known for playing a key role in bringing the first gaming mouse to market, the Razer Boomslang. A former professional American football player in his teens, he was known as a personable and approachable man who took both fans and professionals seriously, regardless of their level of fame. The first products of the American company Razer also included private messages, signed with his pen, for comments and suggestions.
“We are saddened by the passing of co-founder and Chairman Emeritus Robert Krakoff, known to all as RazerGuy. His unwavering drive and passion for video games will continue to inspire us all,” Razer said in a statement.
