What is universal storage in Lost Ark?

Items in the universal storage are distributed between your characters on different servers until you pick them up. This means that they are available for any of your characters. But once you use a character to get them, the item will become character-bound or roster-bound.

Items that you have taken from Universal Storage cannot be returned. So in case you have a good item but not a good character, you might want to save it before claiming it.

How to use Universal Storage

You need to unlock Universal Storage before you can start using it. And to unlock it, just complete the Prologue. Once you get it, here’s how you can use it:

1. Click “Manual”in the lower right corner of the screen.
2. The first option here is generic storage. Click on it and you should be able to find any unclaimed or missing rewards.
3. To the left of each award there will be a checkbox.
4. Check the rewards you want to receive. You can also click “Select All”to get them all.
5. At the bottom of this pop-up window, you will see a Request Currency button. Click here.
6. A pop-up window will appear stating that items cannot be returned to Universal Storage once received. Click OK.
7. Once you have done this, you will be able to find the required items in your character’s inventory.
